| Instructions | Each block should have a minimum of 10 pieces. Remove the paper before mailing. |
| Machine | Use any people powered sewing machine, either treadle or hand crank. | ||
Fabrics |
Any 100% cotton quilt shop quality fabric. In your fabric selections, keep in mind that the signature block will be separate and on bleached muslin in a size suitable for using as sashing, so your block colors should look good with white. Since we are using a separate signature block, there is no need for a blank signing space in your TOBE block.
Signature Block |
For each TOBE block, prepare one 2.5" x 6.5" signature block of bleached muslin. Sign this block according to instructions here: http://www.treadleon.net/quiltshop/treadleonexchange/toexchange.html Pair up one TOBE block and one signature block and stack so they are lined up on one side with the signature block on top and facing up. Sew across one corner using a large basting stitch that can easily be picked out. |

Let the hostess know when your return squishie arrives. It is nervewracking for her to worry about whether the squishies have safely reached their destinations. |
